BIOGRAPHY
Stefano Del Brocco was born in Rome the 26 december of 1978. In 1984 he approaches the game of Soccer, under the lead of his father Filippo Del Brocco, professional and veteran of this sport.
Between 1984 and 1990 he dedicates 3 days a week to train himself and plays a match every Sunday. At the end of 1990 he starts taking boxing lessons from its grandfather Faraoni Pasquale, an aged boxer and enters in the personal defense world. In 1991 he starts his experience of martial arts and attends personal courses of Savate, Kick boxing and Thai boxe for six years, in a local gymnasium, followed by the instructor, Daniele Abate, becoming black belt 1° Dan W. K. A. and Yellow Glove of Savate, obtaining also great results in the competitive contests.
Beyond the martial arts, he builds a passion for the art of drawing, starting with picturing comics characters, but later on across the specific study of books, he arrives to elaborate some tables, and in 2000 he prints the first two numbers of his first comics titled JO HURRICANE, close to the Manga style.
Between 1992 and 1997 he attends the secondary high school ‘Instituto Tecnico Industriale’, continuing simultaneously the martial arts course and sport of fighting. During these academic years, he finds good results in the literary matters rather than the technical matters. In fact, in the first months of 1993, during the study of the gothic period literary, he creates a small story of 40 pages obtaining an excellent score and in 1994 he starts the study of Philosophy, as own learner.
In 1996 he becomes Instructor of Savate - French Boxe, Kick boxing and in 1997 Trainer of Thai Boxe. Always in 1996 he is fascinated by philosophy of total fighting ideated by the Great Bruce Lee, the Jeet Kune Do and studies his books, and thanks to a stage, he meets the Teacher Mauro Di Ceglie, student of Dan Inosanto.
So he moves to the "Sport Center of the Italian STATE POLICE" and under his lead he is trained in the Jeet Kune Do/Kali, graduating himself in the same disciplines. In 1997 he obtains great results in the Thai Boxe, he becomes Italian champion of the Faress trophy and participates to numerous stage with World Champions and professionals of varied disciplines.
In September of 1997 however, he should slow down his learning to acquit his military obligations and is enlisted in the body of the ‘Fucilieri of Marina’, Navy shooting team, into the quarters of the Battaglione San Marco in Brindisi. In 1998 he returns to the "Sport Center of the Italian STATE POLICE" and continues the Jeet Kune Do with the DRAGON ACADEMY and participates to a various number of demonstrations in the sport centers and discos.
From 1999 to 2001, to enlarge his curriculum, he decides to train himself also in Hip Hop and in BreakDance under the lead of the great Gerardo Annunziata, called Jerry, and simultaneously he teaches Sport of Fighting in two gymnasiums of Rome.
In the meanwhile he is interested in the reading of Fantasy literature and inspired by the famous Tolkien, he begins to write a Trilogy titled "THE 4 Heroes of Athelor" and in 2003 he prints the first chapter, while the others are still in development.
In 2001 he also participates to courses of management and business formation on communication and Marketing techniques. After different examinations and stages he becomes K1 Style Trainer and from 2001 to 2003, always under the lead of the instructor Mauro Di Ceglie, he follows advanced updates of Fitness, practicing: AeroKombat, Aeroboxe and Aerokick. For two consecutive years he wins the Italian title FISA of Savate and participates at numerous meetings and tournaments fighting in all styles.
In 2005 he takes part of the Executive TEAM PoliceFriends/KOMBO Tactical Kombat Defensive of the Founder M° Mauro Di Ceglie and, in 2006 he is certified as KEY DEFENDER operator (oleoresin capsicum anti-aggression) with ASP method and also as Tactical Baton Trainer, used by the American police forces. In the same year he decides to get ahead with the Trilogy Fantasy plus two new writing projects: The Mercenary and I Prisoner, the last placed during the Second World War, inspired by a true story. At the beginning of 2006 he adds to the above cited books, the first chapters of other two stories: The Warrior and Amor Imposible, still in development. Beyond having a considerable martial knowledge, during the years 2006 and 2007 he develops also some services as Safety Operator.
